We are considering Dynamics CRM, and I was wondering if there is a way to assign multiple layers of ownership?
We have Sales Managers who are responsible for countries, and within those countries we have sales agents, who own specific accounts in their areas.
I need to be able to have this multitiered ownership to easily create reports for the Sales Managers on progress in their countries, as well as on Agent level.
Further, is there a way to create a workflow to automatically assign a company (based on the country) to the Sales Manager's ownership?
Create a team, make the sales manager as the owner of the team. and add members in that team who will actually be the owners of the individual accounts. Refer to this link:
For the second requirement use advanced find to create a query to filter by account owner (Sales Agent) or group by the Sales Manager (based on team).
Lastly, create a country custom field and create a power automate flow. Add a condition to the flow (based on the country) which assign the records to the users you want.
