HI,
I want to know how to update the "Sales status" field of the SALESTABLE table. I still get the message "Attempting to write to a readonly field"

It's updated by posting different updates such as packing slips and invoices.
If the order is fully delivered the status is updated to Delivered.
If the order is fully invoiced the status is updated to Invoiced.
If you cancel the order the status is updated to Canceled.
Yes you're right but the problem is when I cancel a command on mobility, it does not cancel automatically on AX. that's where I need to step in to update the Status field
What do you mean by mobility? Seems you need to fix that process, not try to only update this one field afterwards.
I only want to update the field sales status with value 4 in the table sales table in AX
No worries, it will be updated automatically when you cancel the order properly. I'm sure your customer wants to cancel it properly to avoid any data corruption or incorrect balances in your system.

when the command is canceled on mobility, it cancels on pda but not on AX. that's why I want to force the cancellation on AX.
You need to fix your mobile solution. If you need any help with that, please share all relevant details about it.
