Cannot connect to CRM Solution via Visual Studio

I cannot select any CRM solutions after choosing a CRM server and organization via the "Connect to Dynamics CRM Server "Open Visual Studio CRM Solution. Previously I was able to deploy solutions without any problem. But this situation arises very recently.

I have already tried with running the Visual Studio as Administrator.

  1. Navigate to Tools -> Connect to Dynamics CRM Server
  2. Specify CRM Discovery Service Name
  3. select HTTPS
  4. Click Connect
  5. Check Use Default Credentials
  6. Click Log on
  7. Select an organization from the drop down
  8. Window closes without error

any suggestions are welcome

    Thank You Nithya Gopinath for your quick support.
    But here I'm getting the dialog box to connect the dynamic CRM. & also it logs in to my account too. Only problem is when I choose the development instance, it get closed
