Hello!
I need help with Dynamics CRM 2011 - E-mail router configuration witch Office 365 Exchange mail box. Only one of my test was good - when I use POP3 instead Exchange Online. Then I can only receive mail from mail box. If I configure in the same way SMTP the e-mail I can't send any e-mail. They go to the queue - only there.

I have uses "Microsoft e-mail router scenarios"  but with no effects.

    Hi,

How are you configuring the email?  there are various configuration options such as the common ones we list here:

    www.powerobjects.com/.../outlook-microsoft-crm-client-and-email-router-deployment-options

Describe a bit more what you are trying to accomplish.

Also - be sure you are running the email router for crm 2011 with update rollup 1 or 2.

After You install e-mail router You must create Configuration profile:

Tab "Configuration Profiles" and click New (must create two profiles or two profiles per user).

    Profile name: e.g. Outgoing
    Direction: Outgoing
    E-mail Server Type: ExchangeOnline
    Protocol: Exchange Web Services
    Authentication: Clear text
Location: https://<You must paste location url>

For incoming configuration profiles that use Exchange Online, use the Exchange Web Services (EWS) URL format (EWS/exchange.asmx), as illustrated in the following examples:

    • https://autodiscover-red001.mail.microsoftonline.com/ews/exchange.asmx - US Data Center
    • https://autodiscover-red002.mail.emea.microsoftonline.com/ews/exchange.asmx - EMEA Data Center
    • https://autodiscover-red003.mail.apac.microsoftonline.com/ews/exchange.asmx - APAC Data Center

    Access credential: Other Specified
    User Type: Admin
User name: <user with admin credential in Exchange Online>
    Password: <for user>
    Acces Type: Delegate Access

Same way for second profile but you must change Direction to INCOMING

Next click on Deployments tab and create new:

    Deployment: MS Dynamics CRM
MS Dynamics CRM server: https://dev.crm4.dynamics.com/<this ID you can find in crm ->options -> Customization -> ...for developers
    Access credential: Other
    Username: admin in CRM
Password: pass for admin in CRM

    Default configuration profiles:
    Outgoing
    Incoming

    OK

    Next select Users,... tab.

    Select a CRM Deployment....

    Load data.

Test access - if everything i green :)

    Publish

You need E-mail router with roll-up 1 or better 2

    Hi,

Just to throw a slight spanner in the works re the URL.. I'm in the UK also, using Office 365 and have recently just installed/configured the e-mail router and I didn't enter any URL but instead just ticked the Autodiscover checkbox for both the incoming and outgoing profiles and it's working fine.  I would point out that the username/password for the Office 365 account I'm using on both is a global administrator.
