Item journals preview posting missing validation

I currentyly we have a customer that whe we tried to preview the itme journal preview posting does not validate the the inventory adjustmen accoutn was missign, normally this was done normally begor the 24.5 update version., we have the automatica cost posting

We have the journal with the missign GL account for the Inventory Adjustment, but instead to show the error for the missing GL account, ony shows the item ledger entries and the vallue entries

The error only is displayed when we post the journal, the validation is missign

Hi, it seems that "Inventory Adjmt. Account" is missing.

go to general posting setup and fill value in "Inventory Adjmt. Account" field and try.

Hi

thanks, Yes, it was missing, the point is that previously BC prompt the error message using the preview posting, the proeview posting mimic the posting, it supposed to do the same validations, but is mising it.

That's strange. I tested it as well in V24.5 and encountered the same issue, it looks like its a bug.

This is indeed strange and I'm not sure if it's a customization or not.

You can try the following feature to see if it can prompt an error before posting.
