How can I do a mass update for a component in the Inventory BOM?

I have a raw material that is being replaced by a new item number. The raw material is included in numerous BOM's. Is it possible to do a mass update for the old item number with the new item number in Inventory BOM's? I know in Manufactory there is the BOM Mass Update tool but I do not see anyhthing similiar to that for the Inventory side. Thanks

There are no similar tools in GP BOM that will mass update components.

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you.

The Manufacturing module does has a BOM Mass Update but unfortunately there is not a way to 'mass change' Bills in Great Plains Bill of Materials. You will need to remove the items on each BOM and then add the new item to the BOM.
