Hi:
 
Where in the Sales Order do you enter the customer's Purchase Order number?
 
This isn't the same as the Business Central Purchase Order Number.
 
I want to know where the end user can type the customer's Purchase Order number into the Sales Order.

    No, not out of the box unfortunately.
    You can use the "External Document No." or you will have to make a customization.

    Hello,

    The field that acts as sales order number is the external document no:
     
     
     
    Information:
     
    On sales documents and journals, you can specify a document number that refers to the customer's numbering system. Use this field to record the number that the customer assigned to the order, invoice, or credit memo. You can then use the number later if, for some reason, you need to search for the posted entry using this number.
