Navision 2015 Language Modules

Dear experts,

I have installed the navision 2015 W1 version recently and downloaded the German Language Modules ( DE - Germany) from Microsoft partner source and installed it as well.

I am able to change the language to German now, but it seems there are some labels, captions were not translated into German.

My question is how could I fix those untranslated lables, captions into German lanaguage by myself?

HI,

Try Below listed steps -

Get Page ID -

1. From the Role Center Page, Navigate from Blue Icon Before Action on Top Ribbon, to Help select About This Page.

You will get a ID in 900x. Say its 9007.

2. Open navision Developer Environment, Design the Page which you found in step 1 say 9007.

Update the Caption -

3. For Example you want to update the caption of Purchase Invoice in left Panel. Go to Last line and From View Menu select Page Action.

4. Under SubType HomeItems you will find <Page Purchase Invoices>, select the line and go to properties. (ShortCut - Shift +F4)

5. Under Caption ML you will see something like -

ENU=Purchase Invoices

Select the menu or Click F6 and Create a New line by selecting your language and Value as the text which you want to display.

Save and compile page.

Let us know if any issues.

Hi Saurav Dhyani,

Thank you for your advise.

But the problem I face now is I couldn't find the action or Tab on the Page.

For example, my image shown "Purchse Invoice" on "Page 9001 Accounting Manager Role Center", but I couldn't find "Purchse Invoice" on the Page action or anywhere desgin in Page 9001.

I was guessing those untranslated actions or tabs which is kind of creating by customize (even thought they actually shown by default)

I know here is the way to rename it by customize (such as using customize navigation pane...), but I need to install the language moduel to my clients, so I don't think that is the good solution to do that after installing on my client's server and customize the page one by one. :(

Hi,

For Purchase Invoices in Page 9001, Navigate to Table - 9054 Finance Cue.

Design the table and add captionML for Field - 3 (Purchase Invoices Due Today)

Also apply captionml to Purchase invoices page 9308 too.

Hi Saurav Dhyani,

    Table 9054 and Page 9308, both work fine in German, there are German (Germany) Language on CaptionML.

    Please find the image belows, this is Page 9001, you can see the red frame which I pointed it, you can see "Purchase Invoices" and "Sales Invoices" which did not design on the page action of Page 9001 so when I change language to German, both are untranslated.
