Does anyone have experience using charge codes in the Free Text Invoices? I am able to Manually pull it in, but Im looking for it to automatically pull it in when the invoice is created. I have it all setup in each module as well as assigned to the customer. We do not use the OOB Sales Orders or Purchase Orders, therefore that is why we use Free Text Invoice.
I want this to auto pull in , right now I have to choose it.
My Apologies , This can not be done using Auto charge.
You can achieve e\this by defining "Auto Charge" at header level.

The auto charges setup is not applicable for free-text invoices. It is a feature for the sales orders. You can consider a customization to meet your requirements.

Why can't you simply add a new free text invoice line and enter 'charge' into the description field?

Do you mean as my screen shot shows? My point is I want this Auto Charge" to pull in automatically, not me manually pulling it in.
we have hundreds of invoices a day we would have to manually pull it into, that is not efficient use of time.
As Andre said, it is not available out of the box. You have to go for customization to apply auto charges to free text invoice.

we have done this by some customization as follows
We have created a custom field in Free text Invoice lines as Charge Code- user selects the charge code, based on the charge code the main account gets selected in line level.
Note- to achieve this we has to create a custom posting profile, where we defined the auto charge code against the main account, system picks up from this setup in Free text invoice and post accordingly.
Else, as experts already explained, this can not be done in OOb.

We are paying for the customization however I want to make sure that I am not being unreasonable when I ask the customization for Auto charges to work at the header level and if we setup one at the line level as well.
