What is the difference between Analytical cubes and SSAS tabular module?

Hi,

I am going to install personal gateway for power BI report which needs to be generated from GP. In that case, currently, power BI supports only Analysis server for connecting with on premises data.  I am beginner to power BI. Can anyone share your experience on this? This will make me understood.

    You may want to start from this article. I have not worked on SSAS Power BI Connectivity yet, but I could understand the concepts behind it from this post:
