Multi-Company Fixed Asset Depreciation AX 2012

Hello,

I am looking to create a feature within AX to allow for cross company depreciation within AX2012 R3. I know this functionality was introduced for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, however we are looking use this functionality to save time as we are spending a considerable amount of time running depreciation proposals company by company. Is there currently an easy modification within AX 2012 R3 that we could look to introduce that would allow for our users to gain access to this feature?

Hello Brad,

To my knowledge this functionality is not backported to AX2012.

You will thus need a developer - probably from a MS partner who has access to D365FO and AX2012 - looking into that and creating this for your AX2012 environment.

It should not bee too difficult in my opinion.

Do you have any plans to upgrade to D365FO in the near future?

If this is the case, I would rather wait and save the time and money required for this modification.
