How to update two flowfields automatically?

Hello guys,

I've noticed the following:

For some time now I have been having problems with two flowfields displaying the value NO as a boolean value in the sales order.

But if I start the Sales Header table with Run, it says YES. YESis the value I expect. My colleagues, however, get the NO displayed, which is wrong.

I have now made a Calcfields for the two fields in the OnAfterGetRecord in the page and then it also says YES for my colleagues.

But now I have many pages that I would have to adapt in this way.

Is there a central place where I can place the adjustment?

Or even a property in the table?

Thank you ;)

    Hi,

You can REFRESH that page. and see if you find updated values.

    Thanks.

    hi

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that you are experiencing issues with two flow fields displaying the wrong boolean value in the Sales Order table in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

To address this issue, you can try the following steps:

Check the data type of the flow fields in question to ensure that they are set to Boolean. You can do this by opening the Sales Header table in the Table Designer and verifying the data type of the relevant fields.

Check if the flow fields are dependent on any other fields or calculations. If so, ensure that those fields are correctly set up and are providing the correct input for the flow fields.

If the issue persists, you can try creating a codeunit with a function that sets the value of the flow fields to the correct boolean value. You can then call this function from the OnOpenPage trigger of the relevant pages.

Another option is to create a new boolean field in the Sales Header table and use this field instead of the flow fields. You can then update the relevant pages to display the new field instead of the flow fields.

In general, it is recommended to use calcfields to update values in Business Central pages. However, if you have many pages to update, it may be more efficient to use one of the above methods to make a central adjustment.

Hi, This is a very strange problem. Normally, the value of Flowfield will be recalculated when the page is opened, and there is no need to add Calcfields.
    For example, in Item list.

If your colleague closes the page and reopens it, will the values be correct?

In addition, it is not ruled out that this may be a standard bug, you can test it on the latest CU of NAV2017.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

If my colleague closes the page and reopens it, the values are still false...

Maybe it has something to do with the new build update we have installed?!

All other flowfields are working, but not these two customized fields.
