.ics file is sent as text instead of attachment to LotusNotes

I am sending appointments in my CRM application to LotusNotes using iCal approach. I am using SMTP. The following text is send as an attachment ".ics". MS-Outlook 2007 gets the .ics file as an attachment, however, LN gets it as text not attachment.

I did not work with Lotus Notes, but that is usually an administrative settings that convert attachment to plain text, to avoid Spam... maybe you should ask your Notes Administrator...

I did not use Lotus Notes, but I would look over the spam filters settings...
