I am a complete newbie to the AX Space. Is there anywhere that I can get hold of some concrete documentation / Videos to the CRM module ?

You can get them through customersource depending upon whether you are up to date with maintenance and have the right level of access. There is also a YouTube channel for AX or postings of videos like this one www.youtube.com/watch
Partner Source provides training documents called "Sales and Marketing" (Course Number 80421)", assuming you are interested in AX2012. Be aware, that the module is no longer called CRM anymore (as it was in AX2009), so looking for "Sales and Marketing" might prove more sucessful when searching web ressources.
