Transactional email - file attachment

Hi Experts!

For legal reasons we need to attach pdf files (contracts, etc) to transactional emails in Dynamics 365 Marketing. I understand that the recommended method is sending out a link, but Legal cant accept it. These are not marketing emails, we only want to send contracts, etc in transactional emails. Any idea for this?

Thanks, Laszlo

    Hi Laszlo,

As Martin mentioned, attaching files is not available as a capability for security and deliverability reasons. Please feel free to  submit this on the ideas forum for future considerations as a feature.

    Thanks,

    Hi Laszlo,

For security/deliverability reasons, we're not providing the capability to attach files to emails sent out of Marketing app, so links are the only option.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Iaszlo,

You can refer to the following three options:

    1. Convert your pdf contract into image file, then embed it in marketing email.

    2. Convert your pdf contract into HTML code, then copy the converted content to marketing email directly,  and display contract detail dynamically to different contacts by dynamic expression.

    3. Upload your contract pdf file to OneDrive, then create a link with password and expiration date, embed both link and password in marketing email.

    Regards,

    Clofly
