What is the best way to correct a pay check where not enough taxes were taken out since one of the deductions should not have been marked as tax shelter but was?

I have the same question (0)Howdy :),
You could create a benefit that is subject to tax and assign the W-2 box as Box 1 (I think it's box 1) and require a transaction. Then you could create a transaction for the appropriate amount and it will increase taxable income and withhold the missing amount without adding any dollars to the check.
