Data protection tool / Active GDPR configurations -> do not work

Posted on by 125

Dear community,

unfortunatelly I'm trying to enable consent management in Dynamics 365 for Marketing and it does not work. I have already tried it in different trials but it is not working in any of them.

The error message is the following:

Does anybody of you can help with this issue?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Megan,

thanks for your reply! I tried it like it is recommended in the documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../gdpr

I'm going to the marketing application into the "Advanced Settings" to the point "Data protection tools". Then I'm clicking "New" and named it "GDPR" and save. Then after the "saving..." screen appears the error-message with the "Business Process Error" occurs with the error message log above to download.

After the configuration is available but the error message appears: "We are currently initializing consent management for you. Please wait for the initialization to complete before enabling consent enforcement." - and it never goes away (after a week it is still shown".

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Carolin,

Can you please tell me the steps you are following which result in this error?  This will help us determine if this is a live site issue or not.

    Thanks,

    Megan
