Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

The workflow was automatically rejected by the system. Alternate final approval was required, but no approver was found.

End user (who has always done this) cannot process a purchase order.  Keeps getting the error message (shown in the subject line).  It's a one step workflow process - two approvers are listed and only one is required.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find out why this is happening?  We've tried a couple po's but get the same error.

    Hi Deanne,

    Are you getting any other message other than the one above ? Has there been any recent changes on your workflow. Try running the script below against your system(Dynamics) DB, and see if the 'rejection' continues.

    Thanks for your reply.  No workflow changes.  I'm working with my partner - they cannot figure it out either.  We even created a new workflow and got the same message.  We escalated it to Microsoft - they say that something changed with the network.  I have the network admin researching it on their end.

    I'd be very interested in hearing if you get this fixed. I've got the same thing happening in my GP2015 test environment for any and all workflows I've created.  Kinda drivin' me crazy.

    Our partner cannot figure it out, Microsoft tier 1 support cannot figure it out - it's gone up to senior engineers!  How crazy is this!

    I'm getting the same thing.  I ran the 'exec wfDeployClrAssemblies' script and got the following returned.  My client did remove the old GP server off the network.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Same error in 2015 here - no matter if alternate approvers are selected or not, or if there is 1 approver or more than 1. Let me know if MS has a fix!

    We were having the same issue and we changed the SQL Server service account (and Integration Services) from a local account (.\GPSqlUserAcct) back to domain service account and it solved the problem!

    Posting this because I am not getting any solutions from UXC or level 1 support from MS.

    We have set up GL batch approval workflow within GP 2015 R2.

    The workflow require the task to be "Escalated to next approver" when overdue.

    However this is not happening. looking at the workflow history, it correctly identify that overdue time however no email is sent to the "next approver" nor is the task escalated.

    We are using "selection type" = People and Group to assign users via Active Directory. Could it be that WF don't know who "next approver" is as we haven't set up the hierarchies within AD?

    Yes if you don't assign it to a specific person and choose the next approver option that is based off of the Active Directory hierarchies.
