Fixed Asset Upload/Integration Manager

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I uploaded the Fixed assets using Integration manager ( general and books separately) and found out that I missed selecting the source file for the special bonus depreciation and it's percent and thus everything defaulted to blank. I have way too many assets to enter it manually.

I  was suggested of deleting the FED book and re-uploading...

Is there any better option out there than this?  Couldn't do an update statement as the percentage is not consistent.

Please help.

Thanks!!

Are the percentages such that the assets could be grouped in large numbers or is it piecemeal?  If large groupings can be obtained, you could use the Select Assets to create an Asset Group (you can import the group list from Excel if that's where your source data resides).  Then use Mass Change for that Asset Group and for the FED Book ID to set the Special Depr Allowance on the Book tab.
