DMF service box error in Data management recurring API with Vertical bar separated unicode file

Hi All,

We are using Data management recurring API framework to import the data from outside D365 FO.We have selected file format as -vertical separated bar unicode file.

When other system 

1.Sends data using other than Postman in TXT -unicode format we get the error - selected file is not unicode.

2.Sends data using postman then we get below error.

    Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box.

If I import  data by manual upload same file gets processed.

I am looking for 

1.why I am getting different error in each scenario

2. How to resolve this error -"Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box."  

I found this error generally occurs if file format is selected as Excel or if there is any blank/wrong data in the file. If I try to import blank file with only header then again I will get file format error

Please suggest.

    try to export some date using the same entity and in your format and then import the same 

    this would ensure file consistency and strcuture

    Postman may not have the correct encoding setup or the file is not encoded correctly.

    There are other community tools that you can use for importing a file like github.com/.../releases

    Then use an HTTP debug tracer to identify how the actual raw HTTP is sent by the tool.

    OR 

    Alternatively import the file as a zipped package.

    Hi Rahul,

    I tried to import file manually it got imported without any error.Can you please help me know how we can check more event log for this?

    Form Sql server log I checked SQL log  but there are no any errors for this.when legacy application send data usin API we are facing this issue.
