Partial pick creation in business central

Can we control how many units can be placed on a pick if we don’t want the full units a customer ordered to be fulfilled?

For e.g. if a customer orders 8 units of an item, but we only want to generate a pick for 4, is there a way to do this?

    Hi,

You can try modifying the Qty to Handle/Qty to Ship in Warehouse Shipement or Sales order before you create pick.

Let's say if pick is generated for entire order/shipment, you still have option to change quantity to handle on Warehouse pick. Here you can make the quantity to handle as 0 if you do not want to pick certain lines. This way you can generate and register pick for partial quantity.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Dhiren
