Create Contact from Account -> Go to Contact

Hey,

this feature is very irritating (sorry, but really bad UX): There's a 'Quick Create' Action on the Contact Sub-Grid included in the Account Form. This is fine: If I click on the + Sign, there opens up the Quick Create window. BUT: When I save, I will NOT be redirected to this Contact. I am still on the Account -> But the Tab name has changed to Contact XYZ.

This is really irritating. If I have Accounts with a few hundred Contacts this is not usable.

The Question is: I want to have a rule, that the 'Save' Button on the Quick Create window leads to this specific Contact. (How) can I do this without coding? Or do I need development here?

    Hi,

    You may not be redirected once the contact has been created but you can surely change the Contacts grid view and sort it by created on. This will display your recently created Contact at the top of the grid view.

    Hey Hardik,

    thank you, but this doesn't solve the problem. I have 200+ Contacts under the Account, so I don't find the Contact that I have even created easily.

    Can I create such a redirection with customizing, or is this a development task?

    Hi,

    As you've said you are having some problem while creating new contact from account form it is not leads you to the specific contact.

    I also have tried the same thing as I'm also not able to directly redirected to contact page but we can click on that contact to redirect there.

    after creating new contact from account page it showing the right path Account -> TestAccount.

    you try one more time i hope it will not happen again or you can try after clearing cache maybe that's can cause this.
