CRM 9.0 lookup

hi,

i am new to crm and i am stuck, i need to search my "vacationday entity" that exist of 4 fieled, "type"(sick leave,....), "days"(nuber of allowd days),"user"(lookup field from account)  and "date" . so when the user is making of request for vaction in need a lookup field to filter wat i want. so i want to know the days that that user has and from thath type. and if thats <= the number of days he wants for his vacation i need to send an email to his manager.

 how schould i do this ?

    Hi leonvanderhaeghen,

    You can do this by creating a workflow that runs whenever a request for vacation is created. The workflow will need to check the number of days that the user has left, and compare it against the number of days he wants to set aside for his vacation. If this condition is met, the workflow will need to send an email to the Users manager.
