Axapta 3.0 MRO purchasing

Is there a simple way to create "one off" PO's in Axapta 3.0? I'd rather not create a vague item "Misc" to buy a hard drive or even worse create a specific item number in Item master for every catalog item in the MSC book?

    Unfortunately I've always seen it done with "misc" items etc. Make it a service item as to not keep inventory for it.
