Hello
I have an "old" sales order where an item got canceled when it probably was at least 10 pcs in quantity that time. Probably ... But it could have been zero too..
But I don´t know how to see if there was some in quantity when the item was supposed to be reserved.
And instead, it got canceled.
Where in the SO ( or on any other place in AX2012 , maby in "Inventory transactions") can I see in retrospect if there was a balance just when the item was supposed to be reserved?
Where can I see the reservation jobs for this?

Hi BCC,
In this case I think there is nothing that you can really do to find out except possibly reverting to older backups of your system. Yet, I am not sure if this is worth the effort.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hello André
Unfortunately, the item is not included in the reservation journal in the sales order. So from what I can see, you can not see why an item is canceled when AX2012 reserving the articles.
Hello Ludwig
One of our customers wondered why the item was canceled even though there was a balance on it (according to the customer).
But the order is old and it´s difficult today to see if there was really a balance when the item was to be reserved. We mostly want to troubleshoot this so there is no problem in AX2012 that has with reservation of items.
I had hoped to be able to see that in "Inventory Transaction" and what the balance was that time when an item was purchased or sold.

Hi BCC,
If you have sent a confirmation(s) of this sales order, the confirmation journals might have the original quantity stored.
Hi BCC,
I don't know a specific place where you could track that data. Usually the history of transactional data is not recorded and tracked e.g. via the database log. Do you probably have an old copy / backup of your database where you could check that? Also, can you let us know why you would need this information?
Best regards,
Ludwig
