Couldn't change the dashboard in custom model driven app

I am using Dynamics 365 V9 online instance.  I have created custom model driven app.  In the sitemap, I have added a sub area as Dashboard. It is showing whatever D365 Dashboards.  As same as in Sales and Customer service, I have added custom Area and added Dashboard.  In my custom Model driven app,  I couldn't select the different dashboard.  Default I set it as my custom dashboard.  But it is showing Dynamics 365 social overview dashboard only.  I am able to select different, but again immediately it is changing to social overview dashboard.  But in sales and customer service, whatever I have added in the custom area, I am able to select the different dashboard.  I couldn't identity what is the issue.  Even I deleted and added again the Dashboard sub area.  Even it is not able to select the dashboard.

    Hi Saratha,

First please clear your browser cache or change another browser.

Also, please check if there is any JavaScript.

If you could, please provide some screenshots, which will help us better understand the problems you have encountered.

In the new version of D365, several bugs about charts and dashboards are known. So if you don't find a good solution, I recommend you submit a Microsoft support ticket.

    Hi Lu Hao,

I have cleared browser cache and checked with different browser also. I didn't add any logic by using javascript.  Just I have added the dashboard in the site map. In the dashboard drop down list, it is showing all the dashboard. Even, it is allowing to select the dashboard also.  But after selecting again it is setting the default dashboard which is named as "Microsoft Dynamics 365 social overview".

Please find the screen shot below

    Hi Saratha,

Microsoft has confirmed this bug, it has been upgraded and is being processed.

The launch time of this bug fix has not been announced.

If there is any progress, I will reply here.

Is this still a bug? How do I get a dashboard to show up in a model-driven app?

For anyone who comes across this thread and would be as scared as me that it remained unresolved, here's another thread dealing with same topic and the first accepted answer solved the problem for me.
    https://community.dynamics.com/365/customerservice/f/dynamics-365-for-customer-service-forum/276624/custom-system-dashboard-not-showing-up-in-the-dashboard-list

    To put it short,

    1. create a dashboard
    2. enable dashboard for desired security roles
    3. publish all customizations in solution

Hope this helps anyone who comes across this thread

    Wiliam
