country of origin on purchased items

Hi,
 
We are using Business central and we have a MDM core solution (BC core) which is synching to all local BC instances. We want to add the country of origin already in the Master BC and synch it to the local instances. However, we may have one item  (same item) that could be purchased from an EU country within one company but it could also be purchased from a Non-eu country. 
How shall we handle the country of origin in this case from MDM?
 
e.g. UK could buy an item from english supplier but same item could be bought from Turkey in our Finnish company. Here we have same item but with different countries of origin and we want to have the item set up in Business central Master.

    you could consider the options:
     
    1 set up items with different origin country as variants. for example item xyz UK, item xyz Turkey
    2 set up items as separate items, so each has a country of origin 
    3 create dimension Origin for the item, with value of different country
     
    4 create customization if all above don't meet your needs.
