What determines the BOM Version for a BOM Calculation from a Costing Version?
We have products with variants and a different Bill of Materials for each variant. There can be 20 or more variants per item. We are using standard cost. Each variant will have the same standard cost but BOM calculations for each variant will differ because the BOM's are different (slightly different quantities for different sizes on the different variants).
When I initiate the BOM calculation from the Costing version, I need to specify the Site and the Calculation date. I can use "Records to include" to select one or more items. It is picking one of the active, approved Bills of Material to do the costing and sometimes (but not always), it is picking the first BOM for the smallest size.
What determines the BOM version for the BOM Calculation?
