I have a fresh instalation of CRM2011 On-Premise with sample data. There is one organisation (crmdb1) in CRM Deployment Manager.
I would like to have TWO organisation (copy of crmdb1) for testing and preparing some data for some processes.
I know that there is needed to make a copy of SQL2008 database (crmdb1) and add organisation in Deployment Manager (create new or import?)
What should I do step by step?
Thx.

I have the same question (0)After a few trials I've made it with success!
I've done it as fallow:
1. Select a database in SQL Server Management Studio which will be copied (crmdb1). Right click / Tasks / Backup.
2. Right Click on Databases / Restore Database
3. Put the name of new database (testdb) and select file from local disc a copy of crmdb1.bak.
4. Open CRM Deployment Manager -> Import Organisation (Wizard)
5. Select server_name and database (testdb) and OK.
6. New organisation should be created. Right click on it and Enable.
7. Go to Internet Explorer and put address: http://server_name:5555/testdb and you will see a new fresh copy CRM ;-)
Voila !!!
There is 2 organisations that might be used for exaple for testing. You can enable and disable each of it.
