Signature Capture Problem

I have a Topaz signature pad installed and setup with RMS.  However when you go to sign the pad, if you sign in the middle of the pad you can only see the top half of the signature in RMS.  The RMS window that displays the signature, is only displaying the top half of the signature pad.  Any ideas on how to adjust this?

    Try running through the Topaz diagnostics.  

    www.topazsystems.com/.../SigDiagnostic.pdf

    page 7 is testing the signature capture.  Make sure it works through the Topaz test app.  This will narrow down where the problem might be occurring.

    Yes I have tried that already and the entire signature shows up through the topaz demo. This means that the device itself is okay and working properly  but somewhere between the device and rms it's  messing up. I have another device that works how it should, same everything. Even copied the .ini file to the problematic one and still no luck.

    Here is the Topaz setup guide.

    It has a note at the bottom saying to rerun the topaz opos setup if you ran the RMS Opos setup after installation.

    Thanks for your help I appreciate it but once again I did all this, i followed this document to a T. Tooaz support is terrible, they don't  get back to you until atleast a week later and the help is terrible.

    How about swapping the two signature capture devices.   This would atleast tell you if it a station issue or the programming in the Topaz device.

    This would be ideal however, they are between two stores that are in different states so it's not possible.

    I am not sure where the problem it.  Have you tried calling topaz.  They have particular procedures and opos drivers for RMS.  You could have a faulty device, invalid opos drivers, incorrect configuration, firmware version on the topaz unit might need updated.  The point is there are multiple things that can go wrong.  We just need to eliminate as many as possible.  

    Also you could try a new unit.
