Import time system VAC bal and hrs using Intergation.

We are using Intergration Manager to import hourly time from our time system and would like to add vacation balance and vacation hours used to be displayed on our paycheck stub.

These fields are not available in the IM Payroll Transaction table to be mapped to our source file.

  1. How can this be done?

The Report Writer uses the Payroll Check Work table fields on our payroll stub.  I can drag and drop Vacation Available field onto Report Writer and use Sick Time Available field if GP was to provide this data but it is not.

We will not use GP to accure any vacation time since we use a 3rd party time system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Riley,

I have wrote my own customize code using C# to import vacation and sick time from ADP, instead of importing all timesheet transaction into Dynamics GP I pulled difference of current and previous vacation or sick difference thats way I don't have to import all transaction, just see difference and pass + or - entry.

     Thanks

Hello Sandip, thanks for your response.

My first thought was to use the Business Intelligence Studio and create a SSIS package.  I was hoping to add to our existing payroll transaction but the payroll transaction adaptor in IM does not have the fields like the payroll master adaptor does.  Playing around with the payroll master adaptor I created another IM which worked without errors but its scetchy as to if the report writer will work using these fields with GP business rules.
