Missing Item model group

A value is missing. Enter a value in the Item model group field in the Released product details form for product 801 to be able to proceed.

I am getting above mentioned error while importing sales order line. I have checked that item model group has already been set to product 801, but still facing this error.

Please help to resolve this issue.

I also went through discussion on above issue in community forum and also followed same but still error has not been resolved.

    Hi,

    Do you get an error message for product 801 only?

    Have you checked the released product details in other company accounts and double checked that you import into the correct company where everything is completely setup?

    Thank you Ludwig for your immediate reply.

    Actually scenario is like, I have released 801 product to "ININ" legal entity.  Today I am trying to import sales order header and sales order line through DIXF in same legal entity. I have already imported sales order header from CSV file but now when I am importing sales order line in ININ , i am facing this error.

    Can you try enabling the configuration key retail and try importing the same.

    Thanks Ludwig.

    Issue has been fixed. Actually it was problem in excel sheet format , Which was changing item number value when i was converting Excel to CSV format. Hence system was not able to identify item model group of changed item number value.

    But when i fixed that issue, I am getting new error. can you please help me for this also?

    This is the new error , which I am facing "Cannot create a record in Order lines (SalesLine). Sales order: ININ-000066, 000801.

    The record already exists."

    please help if you know the solution.

    Yes issue has been fixed. Actually it was problem in excel sheet format , Which was changing item number value when i was converting Excel to CSV format. Hence system was not able to identify item model group of changed item number value.

    Hi vandan,

    There are many causes for the error,

    1.Duplicate data in the excel with the same for the particular SalesId

    2.You can check the numberseq setup of InventTransId
