Error whe exiting GP - You have unsaved changes to the VBA project

A customer has several customizations.  After setting up a new computer and copying in the package files and the .vba files, the user gets the following message when they exit GP.  You ave unsaved changes to the VBA project, wouldyou like to save them?  (Then if they says yes, they get a permisions issue.)

I had another customer having this issue so I went to a "working" computer and created a new package file to including all modifications as well as references and User Forms.  The errors went away and everything is working.

Now another customer is getting this this same error on several computers.  They don't seem to have a working computer for me to create a new package file from.

Can anyone tell me if this is a permissions issue maybe to the GP folder?  Or is it possibly that this computer is missing an object in the VBA file or a reference of some sort to a product or dll?

Thanks much!
Sheila

Hi Sheila, did you ever find out what caused this as I am having the exact same thing happen and can't figure out what's going on?

It has been some time since I have seen this but I would suggest permissions on the GP folder for sure.  If you launch GP as Administrator or login to the computer as an Administrator do you still get the error.

    Hi Sheila,

It has something to do with the permissions in the GP root folder.

Kindly give the user the read/Write permission to the user who is doing these changes.

Thanks for the help Kerry, I've given full permission to the GP folder and tried running it as Administrator and it still comes up when closing GP. I'll try recreating the folder on the PC and see if that makes a difference.
