Hello there

I am testing the new functionality of NAV 2017, when importing a picture on the item card, it doesn't show as a thumbnail in the factbox as shown below

Although, in several articles in the community, I see the picture as a thumbnail after being imported, as shown below

How can I show the picture in the fact box as a thumbnail ?

You can add the picture in factbox and display the same

It seems to be a known issue:

Item pictures are not available in the Windows client

Users cannot view the Item pictures in the Windows client. Partner solutions that implement the new Media and MediaSet fields will not be able to display those fields in the Windows client.

As Mohana said Item image is not available for windows client (at this stage). Refer the release note : Release Note

Any idea on when this will be resolved ?

Additionally, as for NAV 2016, how can item picture be handled ?

there is no info when it will be resolved.

In nav2016, you can click Picture action in navigate and right click on Item Picture window.

Hi all,

Just wanted to check with everyone.

Is it officially allowed to discuss product (NAV 2017) till the point its under NDA?

As far as i read about Terms before downloading -

We should not share / discuss anything about Product in public forums / blogs till the Product is released from Microsoft. We can only report issues or suggest some changes to Microsoft using connect.

Is my understanding wrong?

I also have the same feeling, but I even saw few blogs about notifications and categorization of Inventory Items.

Same problem but in webclient and not with Beta version but CU0. Any idea? did I miss Something. I tried with IE; Edge; Firefox,...
