Missing SYS-label (@SYS343426)

Hi everybody!

After importing the Chart of accounts using the import and export framework we noticed that one label was missing (@SYS343426 = MainAccounts).

This label is present in many different places and modules like "Configure account structure",

What can I do to upgrade/replace/rename this label to MainAccount? I tried to see in the label editor in the development mode but it was present there, but not in front end. So I don't know about the next step to fix this..

    Hi Daniel

    If very strange that the label is visible on Label Editor and not in the forms.

    Which language is used by the AX User?

    On Label Editor, you can see the right description about this labelId?

    Thank you for your prompt reply!

    We are using the Norwegian language (NO) in this installation. Yes, that was also my though. The text is present.

    I have compared it with a "clean" version and it looks the same in the label editor.

    Hi

    An first workaround is :

    1- Stop AOS

    2- Go through the applcation folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\Application\Appl\Standard

    3- Delete AXSYS*.ALI label index files

    4- Start AOS

    One thing, when you say "After importing the Chart of accounts using the import and export framework", mean that you have installed a Fix or moved a customization between environments?

    I'm sorry, but what will happen if I follow this procedure you have written?

    We were importing the chart of accounts using the built in (CU7) Import and export framework. It does not mean we have installed any fix. It does only mean that we have exported the chart of accounts from one environment and imported it to the other. This we did to save time, otherwise we had to enter it manually..

    Hi Daniel

    It's correct using import\export Model.

    But sometimes, the label file id become corrupt or are "misaligned".

    So, after deleted the ali files when the AOS restarted, these files are recreated.

    If the issue coming again, the other workaround is delete all AXSYS*.* ( ald, alc and ali) label files from the application folder. When the AOS start all AXSYS label files are recreated starting from the Model database.

    This issue happen because the Model import move the label on the Model Database but don't sync the labels on application folder.

    However, your scenario is strange because usually also from Label Editor isn't possible to see the label description.
