RE: Integration between MS CRM and TourPlan

Hi all,

I am hoping someone here can assist me in finding out whether there is integration capabilities between Microsoft CRM and TourPlan. We can bring information out of TourPlan in XML/excel but we can't bring information back in to TourPlan through Excel but we can in XML. Currently TourPlan is used on Premise and we are looking to have CRM on premise at the moment. I know that CRM Online uses XML and that on premise uses SQL.

 

I'm basically trying to find out if there is a way that you can have the two program's talk to each other so that information can be transferred automatically between the two, without having to manually enter the same information twice. Any information on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time guys.

    Hi Matt -

    You need to use an integration package like Scribe. Scribe has connections to CRM and looks like since you are able to get data in & out of TourPlan in XML,  TourPlan alllows connection using their web services. So you would import data back into TourPlan with Scribe using their Web Services Adapter.

    Based on your requirements/rules, you would set up the Scribe processes and schedule them to run at regular intervals. The Scribe system would alert you automatically if there were any issues running your processes so you can take action. We can help if needed. We are a CRM & scribe partner.
