outlook 2013 addin won't load

Hello

I'm trying to integrate outlook with NAV 2013, I've set myself up as an outlook synch user in NAV and now need the Outlook addin to work.

I installed the addin using 'add/remove components' on the NAV installation, but the toolbar doesn't appear in Outlook.  I looked in Addins and it shows as a disabled adding but when I go to disabled addins it's not in the list of options to enable.


Please help how to get this working?

    I have now managed to get the toolbar to show (I hadn't understood the addin name properly)

    ..however I can't get it to synchronise, I get an error saying

    'an error has occurred during the synchornisation process.  You can find the error details in the DynamicsNAVsync.log file.'

    It says you can find the file location using the Outlook.exe.config file - I have done this but the DynamicsNAVsync.log file doesn't appear to exist in the file path?

    Can anyone help how to get this to run?

    best you uninstall the outlook component and restart your computer.

    then re-install the component.

    unfortunately I have tried this and it didn't make any difference...what else should I try?
