Hi Everyone,

Previously SL 2011 already got a a lot of printer problem, be recently i try to print some report from SL 2015, i found that there are also some problem with the printer. When i try to print reports, the reports only print the report to the Windows Default Printer, no matter i change the printer setting at the printer option before print preview, or i print the report from print preview. The only way to change the printer is to change the Window Default Printer. Please advise.

Thank You

Hi Wu.  I was wondering if you had received a response to this issue or have resolved it?  I am running into the same issue.

    Thanks,

    Vicky

Hi Vicky (and Wu), a client of mine just upgraded to SL2015 and we had the same issue.  Microsoft/Plumbline has informed us:

"...we have written Bug 34950 for this issue. It says:

In Print Preview of any report, no matter what printer you select (even if it's the SL default printer) it will print to the Windows default printer.

There is no hot fix or workaround noted."

My suggestion to my client was to either change the default printer as needed, or do not use Print-Preview and just use Print instead - but be careful with that!

I've solved this issue removing the check "No printer (optimize the display screen)" in Crystal Report.

    Hope help you.
