Adding notes to purchase orders for specific item #'s

Hi! Is it possible to have a standard note automatically added to a purchase order for a specific item #? How I have it set up now is that I have a note for a certain part # but I have to manually copy and paste it into the remarks field each time. I am hoping there is a way to have it automatically added when the part # is entered. Thanks!

    items number need to be vendor specified only or to all vendors.

    Not without a customization Jason.  However, instead of copy and pasting the comment every time, you can setup Note IDs with frequently-used note text and select the Note ID on the line item.

    Is it difficult to do either way? I would think the Note ID would be easier but if the customization is not too involved I may go that route only because there are only a few items that require these special notes.
