Report Writer - Picking Ticket - Long Form - Cancelled Items

Hi

I have a client who wants to see all items on the picking ticket - even if the item is cancelled.  The invoices are showing fine, but I can't seem to get the picking ticket to show the line if the item is cancelled.

Has anyone done this and can share how they did it?

Cheers

Heather

As Soma said, it makes sense not to have fully canceled items on a Pick Ticket since we should not pick them...

In any case, it could be done.  In Report Writer, you could add a Calculated field (80 characters maximum), then use some VBA in the report to extract all the canceled items from the document and store the item numbers in your calculated field.  It could be displayed as a footer comment on your Pick Ticket.

This would be faster than rebuilding the entire report.

    Regards,

    Phil

RE: Report Writer - Picking Ticket - Long Form - Cancelled Items

We can't add the fully cancelled quantity items to Picking Ticket report. Because the report is developed with temp table and while running this report GP will get the line items from SOP line table to this temp table with only contains the value for the lines with QTY to invoice/fulfilled. If the line has fully cancelled then GP won't copy the line items from SOP line table to picking ticket temp table. So, we can't add the line items with fully cancelled qty.

Note: Adding fully cancelled qty items to Picking Ticket reports that not makes logic. Because Picking Ticket report is only used to pick/get inventory from warehouse.

If we print this report with cancelled qty items, there is possible to pick the cancelled qty items from warehouse. This would be makes some problem.

If you really wants this functionality, you need to create a custom report and add it in GP with after/before printing original picking ticket report.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hi Tristan

Thanks for the response.  Sorry I should have been a little clearer on the issue.  I can add the QTY Cancelled field no probs.  The issue is that if the full quantity on the line is cancelled the line is suppressed.  I have tried remove the suppression fields from section options with no luck.

    Any other thoughts?

    Cheers

    Hi Heather,

You can add the QTY Cancelled field to the report.
