Error : Microsoft Unified Service Desk (USD) issue : Business Process error : unable to update or created any USD record

Error : When USD admin try to update or create any USD record such as hosted control, action call then they won’t be able to do same, this is occur on random basis only.

    Though it seems unrelated, setting this registry helped solve the issue for me.

         Key Name: sandboxforcemultiplebox 
         Type: DWord (32Bit) 
         Value: 1 
         Location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM 

    community.dynamics.com/.../the-plug-in-execution-failed-because-no-sandbox-hosts-are-currently-available

    This is happening to us when we have more than one server in the MSD setup, if we stop one of the servers and run it as a single server instance, this doesn't happen and we are able to create the hosted controls without any errors.

    When we have more than one server, server A tries to invoke the sandbox service on Server B and fails with the above error.

    We still do not have a resolution, any inputs on this is much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Its sounding a bit strange. Last night I have downloaded latest USD components for my new trail organization and I'm able to use it very well w/o any hiccups.  That makes me think what it is mentioned in the thread https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/213440 is true.

    Can you try to create an online trail instance in any other region (say India for ex) and test ?

    Hi,

    well we experience the same problem right now with Dynamics 365 and the latest version of USD.

    I deleted the solutions and uploaded them, over and over again - doesn't fix anything. Then I tried to set the Isolation mode to "None", what is not allowed.

    My last try was to deactivate the SDK-Message Step, which caused the next Plugin: "AddDefaultActionPlugin" to crash with the same error.

    It's madness if I have to create all default actions myself...

    Is this a known issue with the latest Version "3.5.0.755" ? I found another "unanswered" thread by someone else here in the community forum.

    Was anyone of you able to fix this problem for good?

    Have you tried the solution provided above ? isn't it working after that as well ?

    Hi Vaneet,

    We are also running with the same issue after upgrading from CRM 2016 to Dynamics 365 (on premises)

    UsdBaseCustomization 1.0.0.0 
    UsdBaseCustomization 3.5.0.755 
    UsdBaseCustomization 2.2.0.755 
    We are getting following error while trying to create a new component like Hosted Control within Unified Service Desk or modifying an existing component. 
    The modifications are still saved when I press OK on this error but I can't save a new component

    Please let me know the steps followed in the process of resolving the issue, even small help much appreciated

    We are using CRM 2015 on-premise instance, Can I update my USD solution to Dynamics 365 solutions at Production environment by following below link.

    Are you using CRM online/OnPrem ? If OnPrem, can you switch the USD plugins into Sandbox/None mode and try once ? If it is not working, the other 2 alternates are a) Install USD server side solution once again on top of the existing b) Disable the "Duplicate detect" plugin and go ahead. If going with option b, make sure manually that you are not creating Duplicate Name records in any of these entities.


    My Pref would be going with Option A. after trying the sandbox mode.
