    Hi Necdet,

The '+' button is controlled by the requirement level of the parent lookup field.

"To control the behavior of the new record button on subgrids, look at the child entity being selected in the subgrid. If the lookup field for the parent is required, the user will get a “new record” form when clicking the + button. If the lookup field for the parent entity is not required on the child entity, the user will get the lookup field to “add existing.”

    (source: crmtipoftheday.com/.../make-a-subgrid-button-launch-a-new-record-form)

For example: To allow users to use "+" to create a Contact from the Account form (assuming there is a subgrid with associated Contacts), make the Account lookup field in Contacts required. To remove the "+", make the Account lookup field optional.

    Hi Necdet,

This link provides more details of how you can change the controls:

For CRM 2015 and onward, the behavior of the "+" is based on the requirement of the parent lookup. I've run in to the same issue as you, and I suggest you try this, and you don't need to make changes using ribbon workbench to make this button function the way you want it.

    Hi DaveK,

I tried your advice but no success. I get always existing product on Invoice. Since one seeking a solution but there is not any solution. I think it is a bug from Microsoft? Do any one has  any solution or know someone what is the reason?
