Why is the report set to be other report and not SSRS report (under report type)?

I think you have imported some other file extension other than rdl. Make sure the file you are importing in Report is .rdl

When we create a report in SSRS it creates two files. One is .rdl and one is rdl.data . I think you have imported rdl.data in your CRM Report

When you import an SSRS report into Dynamics 365, it should show up as SQL Server Reporting Services report, and not Other Report.

In Reports View, click new, select existing and select the RDL file. When you Save the record it should be SSRS.

If it's not I think you are either uploading the wrong file, or something in the report is corrupt.

    Please confirm.
