How to Increase Venmo Daily Limit?

Posted on by

To increase your Venmo daily limit, you need to verify your identity and possibly meet other specific criteria set by Venmo. Here are the steps you can take:

  1. Verify Your Identity:
    • Open the Venmo app and log in to your account.
    • Go to the settings menu by tapping on the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner.
    • Tap on "Settings" and then "Identity Verification."
    • Follow the prompts to enter your personal information, such as your name, address, date of birth, and Social Security Number.
    • Submit the required documents (e.g., a photo ID) if prompted.
  2. Link a Bank Account:
    • Go to the settings menu and select "Payment Methods."
    • Add and verify a bank account if you haven't done so already. This may involve entering your bank account details and verifying small deposits made by Venmo.
  3. Use Venmo Regularly:
    • Consistently using Venmo for transactions might help increase your limit over time. Venmo's system may automatically adjust your limits based on your usage patterns.
  4. Contact Venmo Support:
    • If you have verified your identity and linked a bank account but still need a higher limit, contact Venmo customer support. They may be able to provide additional guidance or assist in increasing your limit.
    • You can contact Venmo support via the app, through their website, or by calling their support number.

By following these steps, you should be able to increase your Venmo daily limit. Note that there may be certain caps and policies that Venmo enforces, which means not all requests for limit increases may be granted.
