I m looking for an option to display the thumb nail or picture of the scanned item on the screen.

Any customisations are available for this purpose.

I can write that for you.

It is fairly straight forward. Highlight the item (or last one), click button on side, picture pops up. No problem.

Would get more complex if it has to pop up on a customer display.

I will send you my card.

I think what you have mentioned is through Custompos button, for which user need to click the button to display the picture. I would need to display the thumbnail of the picture as soon as the item is scanned and then it can be enlarged if needed. One solution which I m looking for is to change the picture of a Custom pos button as and when the item is scanned, and then can be expanded. Could you help me to change the picture of a custom button on runtime.

    I think

    Session.Register.CustomButtons.Element(1).Picture

can be used for this. Could you help me with syntax to set this property.

    thanks in adv.

    Try this: dl.dropbox.com/.../CPT%20Status%20With%20Picture.htm

Go into Administrator | File | Configuration | Register tab | Web Status and point to the file above
