Back to first stage when opportunity closed as lost

Hi experts,

my mates want to configure the opportunity BPF with this functionality.

If they closed an opportunity as lost, they dont want to create another opportunity with almost the same data. They want if the opportunity closed as lost, the proccess go back to first stage and in the same opportunity we create another version.

I have thought to create a field version when the opportunity closed as lost, it increment +1. But I dont know how to go back to the first stage when opportunity closed as lost.

You can create one workflow in the opportunity to achieve your goal.

1.Trigger：

status of the opportunity change.

2.Action:

1)Installing this solution--Workflow Tools

2)Using this step--Set Process Stage
