Explode BOM automatically

Does anyone have any solutions to be able to automatically explode the BOM of a sales order line item automatically? ex. based on some criteria on a product so that our customer service reps won't have to explode the BOMs manually themselves when placing orders and wouldn't have to know which products need exploded. TIA!

    Hello,

    Chiming in from a Microsoft perspective - I cannot think of a way to do this using standard functionality.  Hoping that a partner or customer can chime in with any suggestions on a workaround or customization.
