AM I right in suspecting that all the interactions data is stored in Azure?
If so is there any planned change to that?
I want to find all the contacts that clicked on a certain link in an email to download a document ,but its not obvious to me how to do it?
Thanks
Hello again,
for segmentation purpose a marketing user has access today to interactions in the segmentation builder out of the box in the UI.
In order to explore the options best is to start from contact and then in the attribute field scroll to the interactions at the end of the lists. Or just type in "Clicked", for example in the attribute field. Once you have selected the interactions you will see the experience like in the screenshot above.
You request on access to interactions data in the Marketing app through Azure would NOT be related to built in segmentation capabilities, but rather for reporting or analysis.
just to confirm, If I am a marketing user i will be able to query the data to create further segments once this connection is set up by my IT people?
Hello,
in the upcoming fall release we will add an option that you can get access to the interactions via Azure. You will be able to provide an Azure storage to the marketing app from where you then can consume the interactions, for example in PowerBI.
More information and guidance on how to utilize this mechanic will be available later this month (about mid of October).
