Hi All,

My requirement is that i want to sum up the total amount spent by customer in making orders and which is coming from a subgrid inside contact (i.e., different entity). I have achieved it using SQL query .. But can i do it using Charts or something else apart from SQL ?

a chart is based on a view , if you can have all amounts in one view you can use SUM aggregate and show it in a chat.

Hi ,

If you just want to show this in a CRM OOB chart than you can store the SUM on Customer/Order entity by using javascript WEBAPI or custom c# code(Workflow activity/plugin).

Otherwise you can create a SSRS/Power Bi Report and use "aggregation" in fetchxml to get sum.

Thanks for the reply , But can i display the amount using a Chart ? Can it be possible in Online Dynamics CRM?

Hi, you can use JAVASCRIPT AND WEBAPI to retrieve data from another entities and calculate the SUM of the total amount :
