Hi experts ,
I want to install CRM 2011 and sql server 2008 r2 on the same computer .

My computer is a domain controller .
The only user is administrator which belongs to a domain .

Am i allowed to install sql server and use a domain controller account while installing ?
or it will give errors later?

Running Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server in a production environment on an Active Directory domain controller is not supported.

If it's a development environment  you can install everything in single server and it should work fine.

    So i should  remove ( un-install ) Active Directory Domain Service !!

If it's a production environment, you need to use separate server for domain controller.

this means sql server is installed in one server (not domain ) and CRM is installed in another which is a domain ?

you can have crm and sql on the same machine and move domain controller to different machine.

so why i need domain controller whereas it is installed on another machine ?

    Here is all you need

    1. One machine with sql server and Crm

2.Domain controller Machine (use if one already exists or create new one)

Having crm , sql and domain controller on the same machine is not supported by microsoft.

And you really need more than one user account in the domain for this.

If you really only have one account, then you MUST run CRM using "Network Service". Normally, best practice dictates using one or more domain user account(s) for this (that have the least privileges that they need to work, and typically with no password expiry etc - sometimes referred to as a "service account").

You must not run CRM as an account that belongs to a user who also signs in to CRM. Things will break, almost immediately.

So i should first  install active directory domain service at my own win 8.1 and create  domain then create user and Org. Unit in that domain .

Then install sql and CRM on another win server 2008

How i can connect and use this domain whereas they are in different windows ?

I didn't get ,how can i use this domain in installing sql and crm ?
